Crafting coherent visual narrative

Each edition of Cotlin Raw is conceived as a new material exploration: fibers that retain their honesty, textures that reveal the pulse of the hands that shape them, and techniques that evolve without losing their lineage.

In these new pieces, the pursuit of the new coexists with the calm of the essential; a balance between innovation and memory that extends into the brand’s visual universe.

Through my ongoing work in art direction and brand storytelling, I support this dialogue between origin and present, shaping a coherent expression of the leitmotif that defines Cotlin Raw: The New Ancestral.

For the 2026 catalogue, the new rug collections are articulated around three creative axes:

In this series, wool moves beyond being a material to become structure, volume and gesture.

Each design proposes a distinct exploration: from soft, enveloping surfaces to volumes that shift between the subtle and the sculptural.

The locations reinforce this diversity, placing the pieces in a range of contexts —urban, rustic and contemporary— to highlight their adaptability and expressive richness.

The new processes and weaving techniques introduced in the collection take center stage by making visible what usually remains unseen: the preparatory stages, the artisanal gesture.

Time, precision and craftsmanship are revealed, turning each stitch into a statement of care and respect for the material.

A tribute to craft, to gestures that endure, and to the hands capable of transforming the essential into form.

A new approach to outdoor living

The Cotlin Raw universe expands into outdoor living, with a collection increasingly present in open spaces.

The challenge was to build a visual narrative capable of expressing the product’s versatility across different settings: porches, terraces open to the landscape, urban rooftops, patios, outdoor dining areas or kitchens requiring durability without compromising aesthetics.

More than an adaptation, this proposes a new way of inhabiting the outdoors: warmer, more conscious, and more connected to the interior.

This project consolidates a narrative where material, process and context are no longer understood as separate elements, but as a coherent system of meaning that strengthens the brand’s positioning.
